The St. Croix Refinery, located on the south shore of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is a world-class industrial asset with a nameplate capacity exceeding 650,000 barrels per day and an integrated deep-water marine terminal. Originally constructed in 1966 and once among the largest refineries globally, the facility represents a uniquely strategic platform for revitalization. Caribbean Energy Solutions is executing a disciplined, phased restart strategy, targeting an initial throughput of approximately 180,000 barrels per day, with a planned scale-up to 200,000 barrels per day by Year 3. This approach leverages the refinery’s existing infrastructure and geographic advantages to efficiently restore operations, optimize performance, and position the asset as a premier refining and logistics hub in the region.
